PFA Harbour Run 2024 is a race about and for Copenhagen's Nordhavn
On the Øresund coast and with beautiful Østerbro as its neighbor lies the fabulous Nordhavn. Here, Copenhagen is currently implementing the city's largest and most ambitious urban development project to date, based on sustainability, innovation and unique concepts.
Born in the wake of Nordhavn's development, the PFA Harbour Run is designed to follow the district's spectacular transformation year after year. This gives participants a unique opportunity to experience Nordhavn up close and run between historic industrial buildings, new architectural gems and refreshing quayside areas that are normally closed to the public.
But the race is more than a great run through stunning scenery
A spectacular urban space is not worth much without life. Therefore, PFA Harbour Run is also a creative initiative that actively stimulates and develops urban life in the heart of Nordhavn. The race creates an inviting setting in which the joy of exercise, urban development and good fellowship - across gender, age and ethnicity - makes the urban space buzz with life.
PFA Harbour Run is organized by Bird & Bird, Unionkul Holding A/S and By & Havn with support from voluntary sponsors. And on August 25, 2024, it will be the fifth time that the starting gun goes off for Nordhavn's new race. Once again, the streets will be filled with a high pulse and an increasing number of runners who can look forward to delicious prizes and fun in the event area with good food and child-friendly entertainment.
